Feedback is a gift
Using coaching skills and providing feedback is actually a way of ‘being’ that forms a buffer against the enormous complexity and the many, and sometimes conflicting, external influences. After all, a correct observation of a situation offers you a broader perspective and gives you the courage to consider which direction to take, and follow it through successfully. The strategic use of coaching and feedback contributes towards a positive coaching and feedback culture. Daring to give and receive compliments, knowing how to indicate that someone needs to take a different approach and how to handle this can contribute to a greater sense of wellbeing and fewer burnouts.
